The newest member of the Meliá Collection will be Hotel Palasa Beach, opening on the Albanian Riviera in 2022 (exact date and website forthcoming). The new oceanfront property is slated to have 142 rooms and suites, plus five private villas.
Sommerro, Norway
The 231-room Sommerro is slated to open in the Norwegian capital of Oslo in September 2022 and will feature stunning historic design (the building dates back the 1930s), as well as the city’s first rooftop pool and sauna. The new opening is part of the prestigious Preferred Hotels & Resorts collection.
Lesante Cape, Greece
With two existing properties in their portfolio, The Lesante Collection is launching a third, Lesante Cape, also on the Ionian island of Zakynthos, in May 2022. Set beachfront in the traditional village of Akrotiri close to Zakynthos Town, the new, five-star property will have 55 suites and 10 villas, plus a wellness center.
Gleneagles Townhouse, Scotland
One of the most highly anticipated openings of 2022, Gleneagles Townhouse, an offshoot of the unmatched country estate Gleneagles, is slated to transform the Scottish city of Edinburgh. The new city retreat will have 33 keys, an all-day restaurant, members-only club (pictured) and rooftop bar.
